Generally speaking, the young people of St Peters receive the Sacrament of Confirmation between the ages of 13 and 15. This is the final Sacrament of initiation into the Catholic Church which begins with Baptism. After receiving this Sacrament the young people, fired by the Holy Spirit, are ready to participate in the life of their parish in a fuller way.

Before embarking on the preparation for Confirmation prospective candidates need to write to the parish priest stating that they are ready to receive this sacrament.
